- Currently 23 years old─── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ────── ⋆⋅☆⋅⋆ ───I tend to make primarily digital art of my own characters and at times fanart from my favorite medias, but I also have experience and training in some traditional mediums. I work best in acrylic paint, ink, and gouache for non-digital illustration.I have been drawing for as long as I can remember, but I decided I wanted to become an artist when I was 10 years old. I have both academic and self-taught experience but have been going down a more independent route in recent time.Art has always been an escape for me, but it is also what drives me. Creating art makes me feel fulfilled, whether it be the process, community, or final product. I intend to make art for myself, but also for others. I'd like to ignite inspiration into others and share my artworks with the world. I hope with the stories I tell, people can find beauty, hope, and solace in themselves and the world.Part of my work also focuses heavily on my diasporic ethnic Jewish identity, by unravelling the lies zionism has applied to the Jewish identity as a religion and ethnic culture and setting a new precedent for Jewish representation in media. My research on my culture seems never ending, and I hope through that research and how it is used in my art and narratives Jews and non-Jews alike can understand what it means to be an anti-zionist Jew who believes in "Tikkun Olam" ( Repairing the world for the betterment of all ) and the concept of "Chai" ( Importance of ALL life, not just for one nation nor people ).I will not tolerate hatred towards Any culture / ethnic identity in my spaces and strive to represent other cultures to the best of my ability due to my own frustrations of how Jews have been characterized in media, I feel it is just the right thing to do, that everyone but especially the misrepresented and underrepresented are portrayed in a way that is respectful and true.
Because of this, I am always open to constructive criticism.Aside from my cultural influences, much of my work is inspired by the media I have consumed throughout my life, as well as the people and friends I've come across in my life and my own experiences. I am confident as an intermediate artist but feel I still have much growing to do, so expect my work to never stay the same.
